Meet Dionys Fuster
Too often, seeing a psychiatric provider means leaving with a prescription and not much else. At Novaluna Mental Health, your care goes deeper because healing is about more than just medication.

I'm Dionys Fuster, APRN
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
I’m a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner based in West Palm Beach, Florida, and a co-founder of Novaluna Mental Health. These are the values that shape how I practice and connect with every client:
-
I believe you are the expert of your own experience.
-
I believe everyone deserves to be met with compassion, curiosity, and respect.
-
I approach each session without judgment and with an open mind.
-
I believe in treatment grounded in science and guided by empathy.
-
I support care that’s collaborative, transparent, and truly centered around you.
Professional Background
I began my career as a Family Nurse Practitioner, caring for individuals across the lifespan in primary care. I loved what I did—connecting with patients, hearing their stories, and supporting their health gave me a deep sense of purpose. But over time, I noticed more and more patients were coming in with mental health concerns, and I didn’t feel I had the tools to truly support them. That realization led me back to graduate school to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, so I could offer the kind of care they needed.
After more than a decade in primary care, I became increasingly disheartened by how many practices—especially those that accept insurance—churned through patients with little time or depth. I started Novaluna Mental Health to change that. I believe every person deserves thoughtful, individualized care that explores the root causes of their symptoms, not just surface-level solutions.
As a bilingual provider, I’m especially passionate about serving Spanish-speaking communities who often face barriers to quality mental health care. I also focus on women’s mental health, with a deep respect for the biologic experiences that are too often overlooked—menstrual cycles, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause—all of which can have a profound impact on mental health. These experiences deserve to be understood, respected, and addressed with care.
At Novaluna, I’ve created the kind of practice I always wished existed: one that centers whole-person healing, honors each client’s story, and provides compassionate, accessible support for every stage of life.
I believe in thoughtful, collaborative care rooted in trust. I take the time to explain your options clearly, whether it's medication, therapy, or lifestyle changes, so you feel informed, empowered, and confident in choosing the mental health path that’s right for you.
