Meet Dahiana Rafailovitc
Too often, seeing a psychiatric provider means leaving with a prescription and not much else. At Novaluna Mental Health, your care goes deeper because healing is about more than just medication.

Professional Background
My journey in mental health began as a Registered Nurse at Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches, where I worked closely with individuals facing some of life’s most difficult challenges. It was there that I first witnessed the deep gaps in our mental health system—gaps that left too many patients without the consistent, thoughtful care they deserved. That experience lit a fire in me. I wanted to do more than just manage symptoms in a system that felt rushed and overburdened. I wanted to be part of the solution. So I went back to graduate school to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Over the years, I worked in both inpatient hospitals and private practice settings across West Palm Beach. I cared for patients in moments of acute crisis and in longer-term recovery. While these experiences were meaningful, I began to see a common thread: most systems weren’t designed to give patients the time, attention, or whole-person care they truly needed. Even in outpatient psychiatry, I felt the pressure to see more patients in less time—something that never sat right with me.
That’s why I co-founded Novaluna Mental Health. I wanted to create a space where care feels intentional, relational, and deeply human. A space where healing is approached holistically—mind, body, and spirit—and where we take the time to understand the full context of a person's life.
At Novaluna, my goal is to deliver care that honors each person’s story and supports lasting transformation. I bring this vision to every session, knowing that the best mental health care starts with listening, partnership, and genuine compassion.
My approach to care is rooted in honesty, education, and mutual respect. I take the time to walk you through your treatment options—what they are, how they work, and what to expect—so you can feel confident, informed, and empowered to choose what’s best for your mental health.
